What I Didn’t Expect About Having Two Kids

two kids

Everyone tells you having two kids is harder.

What they don’t tell you is how different it feels.

With one kid, you can still control things.

With two?

You’re outnumbered.

There’s always something happening.

One needs something. The other just made a mess. And somehow, you’re in the middle trying to manage both.

But here’s what surprised me the most:

How quickly it starts to feel normal.

The chaos. The noise. The constant movement.

It becomes your new baseline.

And then there are the moments where they interact.

Where one makes the other laugh.

Where you see the beginning of a relationship that has nothing to do with you.

And that’s when it hits.

This is why.

Not the logistics. Not the stress.

But that.

And honestly… I wouldn’t trade it.
