Disneyland Is Better When You Stop Trying To Do Everything

One lesson I’ve learned as a parent is that most family frustration comes from unrealistic expectations.

We try to fit too much into one day.

Too many rides.

Too many activities.

Too many plans.

Too many photos.

Recently, I found myself thinking about how much easier family experiences become when we stop chasing perfection and simply enjoy what’s happening right in front of us.

That lesson applies whether you’re visiting Disneyland, traveling, dining out, or simply spending a Saturday together.

The goal isn’t maximizing the day.

The goal is enjoying the day.
