The Hidden Cost Of Being Busy

cost of busy

One thing I’ve noticed recently is how easy it is to confuse activity with progress.

Parents today are incredibly busy.

Work.

School.

Sports.

Activities.

Appointments.

Errands.

Repeat.

The problem is that busyness can quietly steal presence.

You can be physically next to your family while mentally somewhere else.

I’ve been challenging myself to ask a simple question:

“Am I here right now?”

Not tomorrow.

Not next week.

Right now.

Because that is where life actually happens.
