Traveling with two kids is not relaxing.
Let’s just start there.
There’s no “vacation mode.” There’s no sleeping in. There’s no quiet coffee while you watch the ocean.
What there is… is chaos.
Snacks everywhere. Bags you swore you packed perfectly but somehow still missed something. One kid melting down while the other is somehow full of energy at the worst possible moment.
And yet… we still go.
Because somewhere in the middle of all that chaos, something happens.
You see your kid experience something for the first time.
A plane ride. A beach. A hotel room that suddenly becomes the coolest place in the world.
And you realize…
This isn’t about rest.
It’s about memories.
Messy, loud, imperfect memories.
And honestly? Those are the best kind.
