Every parent knows the feeling.
You finally get a free hour.
You could work.
You could sleep.
You could catch up on everything you’ve been putting off.
Or you could exercise.
Most days, exercise feels like the least productive option.
Yet it may be the most important.
Fitness isn’t really about appearance anymore.
It’s about energy.
It’s about patience.
It’s about having enough left in the tank at the end of the day to still be a good husband and father.
Whether it’s Peloton, the gym, a walk, or something else entirely, I’ve learned that taking care of myself helps me take care of everyone else.
